Love that they have covered all their tracks with the environmentally-friendly birch-wood process and the Phthalate-free plastic tray and PBDE-free cushions. Even the glue used is safe for children. Great company responsibility!

I can't get over the fact that it holds 250 pounds. I love that it will take my kids all the way through their teen years.

I tried to locate a retailer near me, sadly there is none within a hundred miles.
I just read your comment. We actually research the best prices for our readers and even though there are no retailers available in your area, it is available through the link mentioned in the review (the post just below this SWAG ALERT) at the best price that we could find anywhere...AND in a variety of colors! At only $239 it's much less than the usual $300+ price tag:)! If you're thinking it's best to see it in person, I do understand...but as it's one of our "Favorite Things" you can totally count on it exceeding expectations. It's truly incredible.

What a great product.
I dig, yeah, I really dig, the molded wood. I know. That's nothing about the fact that it grows with the child or that it is functional or anything like that; I know. Those aspects are cool. However, they don't address the fact that I really dig molded wood. I know, that's not the real term for it, but it's how I describe it. While I'm noting something random about the chair, let me add that I like the chicness of the kitchen on the Svan homepage. Wonder if they can sell that to me as well!

I like how the website had a working demo of the high chair. very handy.
I wish you could see the cusion color on the different color of wood. Its hard to imagin what it would look like.
Over all- an awsome product. I only wish the company made more things like this.

-the design. While the white plastic of many conventional chairs isn't terribly bad, it isn't good either. The finish of the chairs would allow them to fit easily into a space without screaming "baby".
-perhaps most importantly though, if I am going to buy a high end product, then it needs to be a)made well and b) have multiple uses through the years to justify the cost. I feel like the ability to transition from birth on up adds to the longevity of the product and will make the parent more at ease about spending.
-I also like the fact that this product could serve as a "pass down" piece. For example, my mom still uses high chairs for all of our kids, that we used. While the idea is cute, the high chairs have seen better days and are stained and well you get the picture. I feel, and perhaps this needs to be tested to prove, but that the finish would hold over the years to create a piece that has sentimental feeling woven in as well. I like sentimental.
I hate all the brightly colored plastic for babies these days!

I do believe that they are priced very reasonably considering all that they can accomplish. They are environmentally friendly which is a huge plus. I don't know about you, but the idea of having an easy to clean high chair gives me goose bumps.
Overall, the looks coupled with versatility makes the Svan a definite must have in my book. Now, if I could just win one......
I also love the Svan Scooter, the thing I love about it most is with the design shape, It will help the kids use their imaginations. It can be anything, a boat, a horse, a bike, a scooter, anything My kiddos here would make sure to let me know it is a train. The Daycare boys in my home are Train Crazy.

I love the fact that it is adjustable only with an alllen wrench so that my other children can't toy with it,that it comes in so many different finishes to match any decor and that it has so many safety features. The ergonomic design is also so much better for my child.

I love that their products are tested at an independent testing laboratory to meet rigorous safety standards. It makes me feel good to know that my kids will be in something safe!

Their products look wonderful and have that eco-chic artsy look I love. I also really love that the product registration and reaching customer service are all done directly from their online web form. Much easier than having to call a 1-800 number and be on hold forever.
